About The Program
- The advanced “FELLOWSHIP CERTIFICATE IN AESTHETIC DENTISTRY” (FCE) is a CLINICAL BASED Program conducted by VYOM ACADEMYin collaboration with MAHSA UNIVERSITY, Malaysia.
- Dental Graduates who have completed their basic Under-graduate Degree program (BDS / Equivalent) from any recognized University are Eligible for this Program.
- The candidates should undergo Basic Theory (25 Hours) & Pre-clinical sessions (40 Hours)
- Candidates will work on patients for 3 months (450 Hours) under the Guidance of Faculty to do Aesthetic Procedures: Detailed list is provided in Part II of the course guidelines.
- All cases will be done as per standard operative protocols recommended by International Textbooks and Journals
- All cases will be documented in the form of clinical photos (Pre-operative, Post-operative) and Radiographs as required.
- Participants have to complete their requirement of clinical work within the stipulated period.
- Lecture & Pre-clinical sessions are provided which are mandatory.
- The Part I examination will be held at the India centre in the presence of a duly qualified Faculty of MAHSA University.
- Upon successful completion of the above-mentioned requisites, the candidate is eligible to appear for the Exam that would be conducted by MAHSA University at Malaysia.
- Upon submission of required clinical cases & successful completion of Exam, the candidate will be awarded advanced “FELLOWSHIP CERTIFICATE IN AESTHETIC DENTISTRY” (FCAD) duly affiliated and accredited from MAHSA UNIVERSITY, Malaysia.
- The accommodation for the candidates can be provided at the MAHSA University campus for an additional fee as applicable.
- Travel expenses to be borne by the candidates.

Course Guidelines
The Program will include PART 1 | PART 2 | PART 3.
PART 1 : (INDIA)
VENUE : TERNA DENTAL COLLEGE, NERUL, NAVI MUMBAI.
Didactic Sessions (Clinically Oriented) : 25 Hours Lectures
Pre-Clinical Training : 40 Hours
- Participants should bring Handpiece (Air rotor and contra angle micromotor handpiece)
- Participants can bring extra natural teeth for practice
- Participants are encouraged to carry their White coat for Lab work.
- All consumables (Burs, materials etc) will be provided.
PART 2 : (INDIA)
Clinical Session on Patients : 400 Hours
- 18 ESTHETIC DENTISTRY CASES
- Minimum Requirement of 3 DIRECT CLASS I Restorations.
- Minimum Requirement of 3 DIRECT CLASS II Restorations.
- Minimum Requirement of 3 ANTERIOR ANGLE BUILD UP cases.
- Minimum Requirement of 3 DIASTEMA CLOSURE cases
- Minimum Requirement of 3 INDIRECT COMPOSITE CASES completed cases.
- Minimum Requirement of 3 CERAMIC LAMINATE CASES completed cases.
- All cases will be done as per standard operative protocols recommended by International Text Books.
- RUBBER DAM use is compulsory for all cases.
- DOCUMENTATION of All Cases as per prescribed guidelines.
- All Case / Work Flow Records must be maintained in the form of LOG BOOK which has to be submitted before appearing for Exams.
- Clinicals to be done at Department Of Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics, Terna Dental College.
The Armamentarium & Materials required will be as follows :-
Participants should bring the following :-
- Airotor handpiece
- Micro-motor handpiece (contra-angle)
- White Apron
- Refills of Burs (if required)
Centre will provide the following :-
- Patients and Dental chair.
- Micro-motors in-built in Chair.
- Burs ( Restorative starter burs)
- Restorative materials will be provided for the training sessions.
- All Consumables (Mask, Gloves, syringes etc)
- Upon successful completion of the above mentioned requisites, the candidate is eligible to appear for the PRACTICAL EXAM (Clinical only) that would be conducted at our ACCREDITED EXAM CENTRE: Department Of Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics, Terna Dental College.
- Practical Exam (Clinical only) will be held in the presence of duly qualified Faculty appointed by MAHSA University.
- Upon successful completion of Practical Exam in INDIA, the candidate is eligible to appear for Part 3.
PART 3 : (MALAYSIA)
- PART 3 will be held at MAHSA University, Malaysia.
- Presentation and discussion of Documented Cases in the presence of Faculty, MAHSA University.
- Certification & Graduation at MAHSA University, Malaysia.
