Dr R.S Mohan Kumar
Dr R.S Mohan Kumar completed his bachelor of dental surgery from Saveetha dental college and hospitals . He pursued his master degree in the field of conservative dentistry and endodontics from the same institution. He worked as a lecturer in Saveetha dental college for a year before being appointed as a senior consultant for a tertiary hospital in the Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia. He completed his NOBLE FELLOWSHIP programme in the year 2009 and has been practising Implantology from the year 2010.
He worked as a senior consultant at various specialised hospitals before dedicating himself to teaching and private clinical practice.
Dr Mohan completed his Diploma in laser dentistry and has successfully incorporated hard tissue laser in his private practise from 2011.
Dr Mohan has worked in many prestigious institutions and is now a professor at Priyadarshini dental college. Being very passionate about teaching , Dr Mohan has many presentation and workshops to his credit. He is an ardent believer of minimally invasive dentistry and has incorporated microscope in his operatory for the past 5 years.
Dr Mohan Kumar has undergone “Train The Trainer” programme from the prestigious establishment of DENTSPLY SIRONA IN Switzerland.
He is the joint secretary of IACDE and also the treasurer for the academy of cosmetic dentistry , India. He is the executive board member and a diplomate in INDIAN ACADEMY OF MICRO RESTORATIVE AND ENDODONTIC . He practises from his multi-specialty laser dental centre located at Chennai, India.
Dr M.K Venkat Prasad
Dr M.K Venkat Prasad completed bachelor of dental surgery from Saveetha dental college and master of dental suregry in the department of prosthodontics from Tamilnadu government dental college.
Worked as a professor and associate dean in Saveetha dental college. He was the dean of priyadharshini dental college and hospitals.
Dr Venkat has successfully completed international qualifying examination conducted by the general dental council, UK and worked in NHS practice in England.
Presently, he an executive member of IDA, madras branch and of the Indian prosthodontic society.
Dr Venkat prasad is an amazing teacher and has been an admired academician amongst dental community. He loves travelling and loves world history.
Dr Shishir Singh
Dr. Shishir Singh is a graduate of Nair Hospital Dental College, Mumbai and has specialized in Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics from the same
dental school. At present he is the Dean, Professor and Head, Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, Nerul, Navi Mumbai.
Dr. Singh has done his Ph.D in Endodontics from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences. An active researcher he has more then 50 research publications in national and international journals to his credit. He has also been a guest speaker at various conferences and meetings in India and
abroad.
He was invited to work as a Clinical teaching fellow in the Department of Endodontology, UCL Eastman Dental Institute, London UK.
Dr. Singh worked in London for a year and was teaching the M.Sc and M.Clin Dent students at the Eastman and has gained a lot of experience in teaching endodontics at an international level.
Dr.Singh is a Diplomate: Indian Board of Micro Restorative and Endodontics and also a Diplomate Indian Endodontic Society and has been actively
involved in Endodontics and Restorative teaching and has conducted many continuing education courses all over India. He is a mentor of the IBMRE
fellowship program in Microrestorative and Endodontics. He is also the MDS and PhD guide at Terna Dental College, MUHS. He was also the editor in
chief of The Journal of Conservative Dentistry.
Dr Naisargi Shah
Dr. Naisargi Shah, MDS (prosthodontics) is a Professor and Head in department of Prosthodontics, Terna Dental College, Navi Mumbai.
She has done her BDS and MDS in Prosthodontics and crown and Bridge from GDC, Ahmedabad.
She has the teaching experience of almost 23 years. She is also running her private practice for as long as 20 years.
She has conducted many lectures and hands-on courses on various subjects of Prosthodontics including guided Implantology at various national platforms. She has been a national key note speakers in PG conventions and IPS conferences.
She is the Editor in chief of “The Journal of Prosthodontics and Dental Materials”.
She has around 40 national and international publications to her credit.
She has worked extensively on Systematic reviews and have copyright on QUINS tool for assessment of in-vitro studies.
Dr Farhin Katge
Dr. Farhin Katge is Professor and Head at Terna Dental College, Nerul Navi Mumbai.
She completed her B.D.S. from Government Dental College, Mumbai and M.D.S. from Annamalai University in Paediatric and Preventive
Dentistry. An academician by heart, she takes great pride in mentoring Post Graduate programme at Terna Dental College.
She is an astute clinician with an exclusive Pediatric Dentistry practice in Mumbai and keeps herself updated with latest trends in Pediatric Dentistry by attending conferences, seminars and CDEs. She has been invited as a guest speaker at various national and Paediatric dentistry speciality conferences.
She has more than 80 national and international publications in Pubmed and Scopus indexed journals. She is also a Peer Reviewer in more than 7 national and international journals.
Dr Gaurav Kulkarni
Completed his BDS in 2004 from VPDC, Sangli and MDS in Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics in the year 2008 from GDC, Nagpur . He is working in Terna Dental College Since 2008 and is currently a reader. He also has a private practice in Thane.
Dr Sanjay S Joshi
Dr. Sanjay S. Joshi, born in the year 1965 completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery in the year 1987 from Bombay University. Thereafter, he pursued Master of Dental Surgery in Oral and Maxillofiacial Surgery from Bombay University in the year 1992.
He has a rich clinical experience and has been in private practice since 1992 in Mumbai. He is also a Hon. Consultant at Gurunanak Hospital and Visiting Consultant at Centre for Advanced Dentistry, Breach Candy Hospital, Mumbai.
He is a Professor & Head at the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Terna Dental College, Navi Mumbai.
He is a recognized post graduate guide and UG/PG examiner at MUHS and other Health universities.
He is a Member, Editorial Board of Indian Edition of Journal of American Dental Association; Section editor, Journal of Maxillofacial and Oral Surgery; Member, Editorial Board – Dental Dialogue.
He has undergone advanced training in rigid Internal fixation, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) arthroscopy, extensive training in Oral Implantology and in Advanced Trauma Life Support. His areas of special interest include maxillofacial trauma, cysts and tumors, orthognathic and dentoalveolar surgery, TMJ joint disorders and infection control.
He is a life member of many organisations such as the Indian Dental Association, Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons of India, Indian Society of Oral Implantology and Association of Medical Consultants.
Dr Rajesh PoDAR
Dr. Rajesh Podar is a graduate and Post graduate from Nair Hospital Dental College, Mumbai and is at present Professor and post graduate teacher in the department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, Navi Mumbai. He has over 25 years of clinical experience in Microscope Endodontics and Restorative Dentistry.
He has received advanced training in Esthetic dentistry at Ivoclar-Vivadent, Schaan Liechstenstein as well as attended the Gordon Christensen CRA programs at Utah USA, as well as Microscope Endodontic courses by Dr Clifford Ruddle and at Seiler USA.He has also undergone Specialized Laser training at Velopex London,UK.
He is involved in training programs and conducting CDE and is a KOL for Dentsply Sirona and Sybron Kerr. He is a recognized teaching faculty of Academy of Dental Excellence,London,UK.
Being an active researcher he has more than thirty national and international publications in various peer reviewed journals to his credit.
Prof. Dr. Mithra N. Hegde
Prof. Dr. Mithra N.Hegde, Currently serves as the Vice Principal and Professor in the Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, A. B. Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences, Nitte (Deemed to be University) and has been a clinical practitioner since 28 years at Dental Speciality and Cosmetic Clinic, Kankanady, Mangaluru.
Graduated in 1989 with TMA Pai and Colgate gold medals and been a teacher and researcher since 1992 with 385 scientific research articles in internationally indexed Journals with a recent publication in Nature.com in British Dental Journal. Teaching from last 25 years she has guided 52 and co-guided 113 postgraduate students. A recognized PhD guide with 5 candidates awarded PhD and 6 registered candidates.
She has completed 4 major research projects of BRNS, ICMR and VGST ,one on-going project of Dabur India Ltd and guided 9 ICMR granted STS Projects in the last 10 years. Her special interest in the field of “saliva as a biochemical indicator” in Dental Caries, Chronic renal failure, Diabetic Mellitus and HIV is of great value as a non- invasive diagnostic tool. She has authored a Complete Text book of Endodontics and also 3 handbooks on “Recent concepts of Dentistry”. She has presented guest lecturers in 55 International and National Conferences.
She is the recipient of highest Civilian Award in the field of medicine- Karnataka Rajyotsava Award in 2011, Dentist Excellence Award 2013 Instituted by Indian Dentist Research and Review, Dr. J.G. Kannappan Award by the International Association for Dental Research and Indian Society for Dental Research 2013, Women Dentist Achiever of the year awarded by Indian Dental Association and Women Dental Council (2010), Academic Excellence Award in 2016 and Prestigious Outstanding Achievement Award in 2018 by Indian Association of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, Scientific Reviewer Award-Best Scientific Reviewer by Contemporary Clinical Dentistry Editorial Board in 2018..She has been recognized as a Member of Academy of Medical Sciences (MAMS), India for her exemplary contribution to the field of science.
She was bestowed with the prestigious IACDE National Academic Excellence Award 2020 by the Indian Association of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics at the 35th IACDE National Conference held at Guwahati, Assam from the 26th to 28th of February 2021, appreciating her efforts as an educator that has led to the advancement of the art and sciences of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics.
She was a Syndicate Member and member of Centre for Advanced studies at Mangalore University. Member of Board of studies for Under Graduate and Post Graduate Students, Member of Ph.D. Registration Committee and External Expert Research Committee, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. She is also a member of The Planning and Monitoring Board and Ethics Committee of Nitte deemed to be University.
She is the Past President of Indian Dental Association, Dakshina Kannada Branch and the Vice president of Indian Endodontic Society and Indian Association of Conservative dentistry & Endodontics. Presently she is serving as Secretary of Association of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics of Karnataka and Editorial Board member of 16 indexed journals.
